The Field Service Specialist is responsible for providing high quality experience per specifications, standards, budgets, and schedules. This role involves participating on a team installing and servicing building automation systems, assisting in reviewing contract documentation, sequences of operations, and commissioning documents. The specialist will manage communications with customers, subcontractors, engineers, and project managers efficiently, participate in basic field startup using standard start up and checkout processes, and assist in job close-out by providing final record drawings and documentation. Additionally, the specialist is responsible for all customer facing communications and developing strong relationships.

  • Provide high quality experience per specifications, standards, budgets, and schedules.
  • Participate on a team installing and servicing building automation systems.

  • Understand how to read and review specifications, drawings, and sequences.
  • Be able to read, write, modify simple programming and assist others in startup of control's equipment at a basic level with mentor support.
  • Basic understanding of operator workstation use, graphics, and software development.
  • Understanding of HVAC, electrical, and BMS systems as well as practical understanding of construction means and methods, building codes, and standards.
