About The Position

Overview IMMEDIATE HIRING NEED Field Service Technician Full Time Position with Generous Benefits Package $80-85K first year DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, service, and repair electromechanical equipment at customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and sales offices Utilizes hand tools and test equipment, such as multimeters, to perform work Effectively communicates technical issues and findings with the Engineering Department Performs in house phone troubleshooting support to customers Supports sales for product demonstrations Provides a range of known solutions to problems Innovates on the fly to resolve new and unique problems May be required to provide after-hours phone troubleshooting support Will be asked to travel extensively, nationwide Build and maintain customer relationships Performs other duties, as assigned by the manager Able to book own travel with credit card (reimbursed weekly) Must live within 1 hour of a major airport REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with industrial and commercial electrical systems Knowledge or experience of industrial mechanical systems preferred, but not necessary Expert knowledge of supplied machinery (company provides extensive training) Requires travel up to 100% of the time, inclusive of consecutive overnights, between 10-14 days Ability to accurately and effectively communicate problems and suggest possible solutions Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain detailed records Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel VETERANS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY

Requirements

  • Experience with industrial and commercial electrical systems
  • Expert knowledge of supplied machinery (company provides extensive training)
  • Requires travel up to 100% of the time, inclusive of consecutive overnights, between 10-14 days
  • Ability to accurately and effectively communicate problems and suggest possible solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain detailed records
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Must live within 1 hour of a major airport
