Sartorius has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated professional to help make an impact within our Field Service organization supporting the Lab Essential portfolio of products such as water systems, balances, and analyzers. This position will be supporting customers, with the majority located in New Brunswick, NJ. Territory includes NJ, PA, DE and MD with potential to travel to other states. The incumbent in this role will be a critical team member helping customers with installations, calibrations, maintenance, and repairs. What you will accomplish together with us: Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches Tie workflow to schedule Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions Produce timely and detailed service reports Document processes Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings In the event of an issue, you will assist with troubleshooting and analyzing any process failures that arise Build positive relationships with customers

  • Associate degree or certifications in engineering or military training and 5+ years of proven field service experience
  • 2+ years of proven field service experience, including experience with the calibration of balances and moisture analyzers
  • Reside in or near New Brunswick, NJ.
  • Open to traveling 50% or more overnight
  • Able to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment with excellent mechanical, electrical, and IT skills
  • Valid Driver's License and Passport
  • Proficient with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedule
  • Lift items that weigh up to 55 lbs.
