About The Position

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated engineer with a strong desire to learn and apply technical knowledge to real-world equipment. If you are mechanically and electronically inclined and enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem-solving in the field, this is the role for you. This is an active, field-based position—you may be on your feet for 90% to 95% of the workday and will be expected to safely lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. A strong commitment to safety in oil and natural gas and refinery environments is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Must have strong technical aptitude, good problem-solving abilities, and the skills to learn and understand product mechanics, electrical wiring, and electronics
  • Ability to read and understand machine drawings, schematics, and manufacturing instructions
  • This position requires some travel and compliance with customer site requirements including a clean driving record, routine drug testing and physicals, and occasional wearing of breathing equipment and other protective equipment that may require minimal facial hair or other accommodations
  • Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including customers, field personnel, and internal engineering/manufacturing teams through clear written reports and verbal updates
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and service teams to troubleshoot issues, share insights, and drive continuous improvement in equipment performance and reliability
  • Ownership & Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, urgency, and prioritization—balancing field service demands, project timelines, and customer needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical & Analytical Aptitude: Apply engineering principles in real-world scenarios, with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex equipment and system issues involving both mechanical and electro-mechanical components
  • This is a full-time, in person position.

  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve recurring issues and recommend design and process improvements from field experience
  • These are some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during your workday, but you may be called upon to fulfill other duties as needed.
