Field Service Engineer

About the position

We're looking for a Building Automation Systems Specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you'll help design and support smart building systems-from planning to final delivery. You'll work closely with project managers, electricians, and other trades to make buildings more efficient and intelligent.

Responsibilities

• Start up and commission DDC (Direct Digital Control) systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Deliver small projects independently (under 80 hours)
• Work with HVAC systems like VAVs, fan coils, and small air handlers
• Set up alarms, trends, reports, and operator workstations
• Train customers on how to use their systems
• Maintain accurate drawings and daily job logs
• Follow safety standards and maintain your tools and devices

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working with building automation systems, including HVAC equipment, control devices, and interpreting technical schematics
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple tasks, and clearly communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams
