About The Position

The 2025 Field Service Engineer Summer Intern position at Thermo Fisher Scientific offers a unique opportunity for students pursuing a degree in engineering to gain hands-on experience in the field of Field Service Engineering. Interns will work closely with experienced Field Service Engineers, engage in customer service, and contribute to meaningful projects that enhance their understanding of the business and its impact on global health and safety.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Chemistry, Science, or a related field.
• Must be a rising Senior returning to school after the internship.
• Satisfactory academic record and good standing at the college or university.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service work experience.
• Engineering, Robotics, and/or IT work experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and learn from experienced Field Service Engineers (FSEs) to gain practical knowledge.
• Engage in a specific project related to Field Service Engineering, applying skills to real-world challenges.
• Highlight project findings and share experiences with the Divisional Leadership Team.
• Participate in a one-day volunteer project within the local community.
