About The Position

The RF Field Service Engineer at NSI-MI Technologies is responsible for supporting customer test and production facilities by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on microwave measurement systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently while coordinating with multi-disciplined teams. The engineer will engage with customers to ensure systems remain operational and will have opportunities for career growth within the company.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills to understand complex RF/Microwave systems.
• Experience performing bench level measurements of RF Active and Passive Components.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, RF power meters, VNAs, and oscilloscopes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain or have a U.S. Government security clearance.
• 2+ years of directly applicable industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's desired).

Nice To Haves

• Good understanding of mechanical systems such as positioners.
• Experience with customer interaction.
• Familiarity with microwave antenna measurement.
• Hands-on experience with antenna test ranges and mechanical positioning systems.
• Troubleshooting system level electronic systems.
• Experience in RF systems such as radar or satellite.

Responsibilities

• Support customer test and production facilities on a scheduled or as-required basis.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot faults during corrective visits.
