About The Position

The position involves providing technical support and maintenance for electro-mechanical systems in industrial machinery, primarily for the food and non-food industry sectors. The role requires extensive travel and includes responsibilities such as emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, and customer training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years hands-on technical experience on electro-mechanical systems as applied to state-of-the-art industrial machinery.
• Strong electrical aptitude, including motors, AC & servo drives, electrical circuitry, PLC and PC based control systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude including power transmission systems, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experienced troubleshooter on electro-mechanical systems.
• Excellent communications skills - must be proficient in English, have strong listening skills and enjoy working with people.
• Able to multi-task and work under extreme pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Excellent computer literacy including knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Vertical Bagging experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment.
• Provides technical support to customers including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Performs mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines.
• Provides training of customers' operators and maintenance personnel.
• Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
