About The Position

Performing a variety of complex technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems Participating in experimental design, circuitry design, and prototype models Participating in system design, fabrication, integration, and testing of electronic circuits and mechanical devices Performing on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of company products and equipment Providing technical support to customers on operational/maintenance aspects of system equipment Updating system drawings and makes recommendations for upgrades as appropriate Leading a team of FSE's Training and mentoring junior team members Participating in establishing production best practices #LI-LL1

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience with basic computer & networking skills, electronics/electrical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and cable fabrication
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Top Secret / SCI Level
  • Some travel may be required (10-15%)

Responsibilities

  • Participating in experimental design, circuitry design, and prototype models
  • Participating in system design, fabrication, integration, and testing of electronic circuits and mechanical devices
  • Performing on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of company products and equipment
  • Providing technical support to customers on operational/maintenance aspects of system equipment
  • Updating system drawings and makes recommendations for upgrades as appropriate
  • Leading a team of FSE's
  • Training and mentoring junior team members
  • Participating in establishing production best practices
