Field Service Engineer III
About The Position
As a Fleet Electronic Support Representative, this individual performs a variety of complex technical functions in support of the SSEE system to include test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electronic systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment Establishing procedures for the maintenance of facilities and equipment including cable diagrams, equipment schematics, and configurations Providing technical distance and on-site support to deployed U.S. Navy units #LI-LL1
Requirements
- Four or more years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining the SSEE FoS
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Must obtain within 6 months of hire
- SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY
Nice To Haves
- 10 or more years of experience troubleshooting or maintaining the SSEE FoS or similar C5ISR system
- General working knowledge in reference to the hardware installation, system configuration, system administration and maintenance of Ships Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE)
- Performed System Operational Verification Tests (SOVTs)
- Working with testing and development teams
- Fleet Electronic Support (FES) experience
- Installation of hardware such as servers, routers, switches and workstations
Responsibilities
