This includes installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of specialized medical equipment. Expect 25% of the role to include documentation and service reporting, with the majority focused on hands-on technical work in the field. This position could involve regional day trips and occasional overnight stays. All travel is company paid. Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service documentation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organization and time-management abilities
  • The ability to work independently while following established procedures
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 2–4 years of technical or field service experience OR Associate degree or trade/technical school certification 1+ year of technical experience (including internship or apprenticeship)
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance
  • Ability to operate personal, fleet, or rental vehicles
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and equipment handling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move equipment up to 125 lbs
  • Regular use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Time spent both on-site at customer facilities and documenting service work electronically

Responsibilities

  • Performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, calibration, and repair on, medical diagnostic equipment, and kiosk systems.
  • Conducting performance verification and equipment testing to ensure compliance and reliability.
  • Documenting service activities and managing work orders using EMSAR’s ServiceMax system
  • Communicating with dispatch teams and customers to coordinate service calls
  • Representing EMSAR professionally while working at customer facilities
