About The Position

The Field Service Engineer role at Philips involves providing exceptional customer service through the installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively while adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 4+ years in electromechanical industries.
  • Preferred experience with image guided therapy and/or diagnostic x-ray equipment.
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory.
  • Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements and meeting commitments.
  • Understand the customer's business and competitive environment to generate service revenue.
  • Actively participate as a member of the regional work team to improve processes and identify training gaps.
  • Perform all administrative duties within established regulatory requirements and timeframes.
  • Utilize tools and resources to resolve customer and system problems in a timely manner.
  • Complete preventative maintenance, Field Change Orders, installations, and related tasks.
