As a Field Service Engineer I - Technical Support here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing technical support for our Building Automation products and solutions. You will be accountable for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing guidance to customers, and ensuring the successful implementation of our products. Your expertise and technical support will contribute to the overall success of our field service operations and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our technical support operations, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

  • Provide technical support for Enterprise software (NetBox/OnGuard)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate technical support
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • May be required to work off-hours, on weekends, and/or holidays
  • 1 yrs+ tech support, secure solutions, access control, networking or related experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Associate degree in computer science, IT, electronics, or equivalent experience with supporting software-based products or Access Control systems
  • Technical certifications such as A+/Net+/MSSQL/MCP/MCSE/MCDBA
  • Experience with Advanced TCP/IP Protocols
  • Subnetting
  • Routing and Switching
  • Network Security Basics
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting
  • Ability to use monitoring/diagnosing tools like Wireshark and traceroute to resolve network issues
