About The Position

The position involves troubleshooting and repairing service issues on equipment in the field in a timely manner, performing startup on tools at the customer's site, and providing customer training. The role also includes performing customer retrofits in the field and PLC programming when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of field service experience (Non-Remote).
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, up to 75% of the time with 4 hours' notice (Remote: up to 100% of the time).
• Good working knowledge of electricity, NEC, fire codes, SEMI codes, fluid dynamics, and assembly techniques.
• Working knowledge of PLC programming using ladder logic.
• High school graduate with AA technical degree preferred.
• Two years in a similar position.

Nice To Haves

• Skilled in analyzing and diagnosing equipment malfunction with a systematic approach.
• Ability to use power hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Some knowledge of systems control.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair service issues on equipment in the field.
• Perform startup on tools at customer's site.
• Provide customer training on equipment maintenance and operation.
• Perform customer retrofits in the field.
• Write PLC code using ladder logic and troubleshoot code.
• Document service issues, schematic changes, blueprints, etc.
• Contribute to team effort by cooperating, contributing, and sharing knowledge and skills.
