About The Position

The Field Service Engineer for Diagnostic X-ray/Cath Lab is responsible for managing customer relationships through technical expertise in the installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, adherence to regulatory requirements, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment while traveling extensively to customer sites.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Preferred experience in diagnostic x-ray, cardiovascular, cath labs, or image-guided therapy equipment.
• Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements and meeting commitments.
• Understand the customer's business and competitive environment to generate service revenue.
• Participate actively as a member of the regional work team to improve processes and identify training gaps.
• Perform all administrative duties within established regulatory requirements and timeframes.
• Utilize tools and resources to resolve customer and system problems in a timely manner.
• Complete preventative maintenance, Field Change Orders, installations, and related tasks.
