About The Position

The Field Service Engineer for Diagnostic X-ray/Cath Lab at Philips is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through the installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively while adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment, preferably with diagnostic x-ray, mobile x-ray, fluoroscopy, and cardiovascular/cath lab experience.
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
  • Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
  • Ability to work in various settings including office, remote, and healthcare environments.

  • Philips OEM training is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements and setting clear expectations.
  • Actively participate as a member of the regional work team to improve processes and identify training gaps.
  • Perform all administrative duties within established regulatory requirements and timeframes, including timesheets and service work orders.
  • Utilize tools and resources to resolve customer and system problems in a timely manner.
  • Complete preventative maintenance, Field Change Orders, installations, and diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems.
