About The Position

The Field Service Engineer at Leica Microsystems is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, primarily in universities and hospitals, ensuring their Leica systems are maintained and functioning optimally. This role involves preventive maintenance, fault analysis, installations, and repairs, while also supporting sales activities and collaborating with the service team to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years' experience in a technical, scientific, or engineering background or relevant military experience.
• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight travel up to 4 nights a week.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers for preventive maintenance actions, fault analysis, upgrades, installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Support Sales Representatives in installations and demo/exhibitions.
• Collaborate with the Service Team to provide professional after-sales service and share valuable customer insights.
