We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer for one of our clients, an innovative European company specialized in the design and manufacturing of high-precision CNC machines and automation systems. Position based in Indianapolis area (Chicago / Great Lakes also possible), with regular travel to customer sites (approx. 20-40%). MISSIONS As part of the launch of its U.S. operations, our client is recruiting its first technical team member on the ground. Following a 4-to-6-week onboarding and technical training period in Europe, you will be responsible for: Installing , commissioning , and fine-tuning machines at client sites Providing after-sales service , maintenance, troubleshooting, and operator training Performing technical testing and supporting demos with the sales team Acting as the local technical expert and liaison between the U.S. market and the European HQ Autonomous and customer-oriented , you will play a key role in client satisfaction and the technical foundation of the U.S. structure. PROFILE You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field , and have 3 to 5 years' experience in field service, commissioning, or industrial equipment support. You have a strong knowledge of CNC systems. You combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills . You enjoy working in the field , solving problems, and building long-term relationships with customers while operating independently in a growing environment.
