Job Summary & Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring Onto Innovations customers receive a high level of support through real time communication and system knowledge. Install new systems within the US region. Respond to customer requests for tool support and regular maintenance. Provide technical assistance to ONTO's US customers in real time in both onsite and remote situations. Read electrical and hardware schematics. Communicate daily status both internally and externally. Time management in high pressure situations. Flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Ability to identify and use common hand tools.
  • Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting.
  • Troubleshooting experience in electrical, mechanical and software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills in a technical environment.
  • Ability to utilize all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the US and internationally, approximately 75% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Industry.
  • College/University degree in engineering.
