Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a field-focused technical or engineering role; preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Valid Canadian or U.S. driver’s license and passport, with an acceptable driving record.
  • Experience in a quality control or quality assurance role in an industrial environment is considered an asset.
  • Field-based project management or coordination experience is considered an asset.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish and/or French considered an asset.
  • Understanding of the fiberglass reinforced plastic industry will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and prioritize customer service requests, accurately logging details into the system.
  • Determine field service scope of work in consultation with Engineering Support as required.
  • Generate job cost estimates based on scope of work.
  • Coordinate for required personnel and material to perform scope of work.
  • Schedule onsite field service, communicating estimated arrival and completion to the client.
  • Monitor technicians’ schedules and re-dispatch as needed to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure technicians have the necessary information, parts, and materials to complete each job task on site.
  • Ensure that safe work practices are being followed at project sites.
  • Generate a report to the client upon completion of each job task.
