About The Position

As a Field Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising security officers and carrying out administrative procedures as required by the branch. This will involve, performing inspections, scheduling and assigning employees to shifts and posts as needed, and ensuring post orders are followed. Furthermore, you will respond to incidents and provide service coverage as needed, as well as lead, coach and train personnel. Specific responsibilities for this supervisory role include: Ensuring that personnel delivers high-quality service, evaluating service quality and initiating any necessary corrective action in a timely manner Meeting with Branch management for status updates, to address any actual or potential problems Providing support during client start-ups and input to security planning, assessments and surveys Reviewing orders and communicating requirements and changes to affected personnel Ensuring that each staff member is treated with dignity and respect Supporting, coaching employees, and carrying out disciplinary actions, as necessary Maintaining a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures Communicating and coordinating with Branch management regarding scheduling, staffing, equipment, record keeping, and related matters, to ensure smooth delivery of services Coordinating with Branch management and other supervisory personnel to discuss customer service, initiatives, personnel matters, and related issues Inspecting patrol routes and sites as assigned to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with orders, contracts and directives Reviewing client and company required reports for accuracy and timeliness Assisting in preparing and submitting payroll information Performing tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree or equivalent, preferred
  • Minimum 1 years of supervisory experience in the field
  • Reliable means of communication and transportation
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
  • Working knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures
  • Willingness to submit to and pass pre-employment screening process, to include drug screen and background investigation
  • Schedule flexibility and willingness to work swing/grave shifts, to include weekends
