The Field Sales Support Systems Engineer Staff (Level 4) at Lockheed Martin is responsible for leading project engineering efforts in a high-paced environment, specifically supporting the F-35 Sustainment program for international customers including Norway, Korea, and Japan. The role involves acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for proposal and contract work, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the export of engineering products and data. The position requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to mentor junior team members while managing customer interactions across the F-35 fleet.

  • Lead project engineering for F-35 Sustainment in international markets.
  • Act as SME for proposal and contract work related to ALIS/ODIN.
  • Coordinate with various teams to develop and approve export documentation.
  • Support Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Program Management Action Teams (PMAT) for international customers.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on engineering needs and ITC requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with military organizations and internal teams.
  • Travel to international F-35 locations as needed.
  • 8 years of experience in project engineering or related fields.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security).
  • Experience with sustainment, contract proposal, integration & test, and system knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of F-35 ALIS/ODIN systems.
  • Experience with ITAR/TAA/PIA regulations.
  • Familiarity with export/import licensing processes.
  • Experience with JDL and PD-16 documents.
