About The Position

Field Sales Representatives at AT&T are sales professionals who provide customized, white glove experiences directly in the customer’s home. They are driven to connect, using every interaction as an opportunity to introduce the latest technology and services, and thrive on achieving sales goals. The role offers uncapped commission potential, with top earners having the opportunity to make $100,000. New representatives earn between $41,800-$53,530 plus $20,000 to $100,000 in uncapped commission opportunities, depending on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training, and if sales goals are met or exceeded. Representatives act as the face and voice of AT&T, working independently to deliver personalized sales interactions at scheduled appointments provided by the company. They close deals by offering hands-on demos, Wi-Fi assessments, tech delivery, and issue resolutions to keep customers connected. The role includes paid training, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing learning opportunities. Representatives connect with existing customers daily, engaging with warm prospects effectively using strong negotiation and communication skills to make sales.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of commission sales experience required
  • Demonstrated success in commission sales and achieving sales targets
  • Proficient in upselling techniques that enhance customer value and satisfaction
  • Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to build rapport quickly
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Be ready to drive, as a company vehicle is provided for official business use only
  • Work a varied schedule designed to meet customers on their timeline – this includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Successful completion of a background check, including drug screening, criminal history, and motor vehicle record
