About The Position

Field Sales Representatives at AT&T are sales professionals who provide customized, white glove experiences directly in the customer’s home. They are driven to connect, with every interaction being an opportunity to introduce the latest technology and services, and they thrive on the challenge to meet sales goals. The role offers uncapped commission potential, with top earners having the opportunity to make $100,000. New Field Sales Representatives can expect to earn between $60,300 to $100,000, including salary and uncapped commission opportunities, with individual starting salary dependent on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training, and if sales goals are met or exceeded. Representatives serve as the face and voice of AT&T to their customers, working independently to deliver personalized sales interactions at scheduled appointments provided by the company. They close deals by offering hands-on demos, Wi-Fi assessments, tech delivery, and issue resolutions, keeping customers connected to what matters most. AT&T provides paid training to set representatives up for success, along with coaching, mentoring, and ongoing learning opportunities. Representatives will connect with existing customers daily, utilizing scheduled appointments with warm prospects. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential for making smooth pivots and successfully closing sales. AT&T, founded nearly 150 years ago by Alexander Graham Bell, is a pioneer in making connections, helping bring families, communities, and businesses together with products and services like 5G and Fiber.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of commission sales experience required
  • Demonstrated success in commission sales and achieving sales targets
  • Proficient in upselling techniques that enhance customer value and satisfaction
  • Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to build rapport quickly
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Be ready to drive, as we provide a company vehicle for official business use only
  • Work a varied schedule designed to meet customers on their timeline –this includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, including drug screening, criminal history, and motor vehicle record
