As a Field Sales Representan providing the resources our customers need to ensure their success. Our team of talented and passionate professiontive with Reiser, you will be responsible for sales growth, gross profit, and positive customer relationships in a territory consisting of Northern Chicago, IL and Greater Milwaukee, WI. Therefore, we will earn a fair profit and ensure our future Essential Functions of the role: We have a regional approach to our sales and service teams and are currently looking to hire a Field Sales Representative to continue to help support our Mid Atlantic Team (Region). This representative will work directly with our Regional Sales Manager and should be based out of the greater Northern Chicago or Greater Milwaukee areas. This person is ultimately responsible for working together (as a team) to continue to drive sales, growth, and gross profits of our processing and packaging equipment in the assigned territory to new and existing customers. It is crucial that we find someone who is open to learning under a seasoned veteran, has a street fighter mentality that also has extremely strong attention to detail, is determined, caring, curious, hungry, and selfless. International travel is possible depending on event schedules, supplier trainings /relationship building, customer visits, and career growth.

Requirements

  • Three plus of experience selling capital equipment experience or automated machinery – we would prefer to not consider candidates that have consumables, parts, components, or supplies experience
  • An aggressive, enthusiastic and determined individual with a proven track record of success.
  • Understands the importance of selling equipment with the added service component and working closely with service team.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task.
  • Comfortable communicating with people on the shop floor to presidents of companies.
  • Ability to travel 50-70% overnight during the week throughout New Jersey and Delaware.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with food processing and/or food packaging capital equipment would be highly preferred and people with this experience are encouraged to apply.
  • An undergraduate degree is preferred but not required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Field Sales Manager and Regional Sales Vice President on sales orders, sales generation, and sales planning.
  • Direct experience selling capital equipment or machinery (preferably in the food processing and/or packaging industry). We will consider candidates with proven experience in comparable industries or related products.
  • Professionally represent our products to our new and existing customers.
  • Understands the importance of selling equipment with the added service component and working closely with service team.
  • Comfortable communicating with people on the shop floor to presidents of companies.
  • Continually build pipelines through cold-calling, networking and maintaining positive relationships; internally and externally.
  • Share best sales practices with team.
  • Be actively involved with sales industry associations.
  • Ensure documentation and sales reports are accurate and are received on time.
  • Help to facilitate quotations, product samples and deliveries.
  • Work closely with the field service team to ensure full customer satisfaction.
