About The Position

At Keycafe, we’re looking for a Field Sales Representative who loves in-person outreach, hands-on demonstrations, and high-activity field sales. You’ll be the face of Keycafe in cities across the U.S., introducing businesses to our SmartBox technology and generating qualified leads for our Account Executive team. This is a fast-moving, entrepreneurial role perfect for someone who excels in door-to-door engagement, communicates with confidence, and gets energized by showcasing innovative technology directly to customers. Our SmartBox system combines IoT hardware with cloud software to give organizations total control over their keys — anytime, anywhere. From hospitality and property management to logistics, fleets, and government, companies rely on Keycafe to keep operations secure, efficient, and scalable.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of outside sales, door-to-door sales, field marketing, or hardware/software promotion experience.
  • Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable with cold outreach.
  • Interested in technology, IoT devices, and B2B tech sales.
  • Organized, disciplined, and self-managed in a remote, field-based environment.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and willing to travel locally and regionally.
  • Comfortable handling and demonstrating a portable hardware device (SmartBox).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling POS systems, security solutions, telecom, solar, or hardware-enabled SaaS.
  • Background in automotive, property management, hospitality, or fleet/logistics industries.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door outreach, cold calling, and in-person demos to build interest in Keycafe solutions.
  • Generate qualified B2B leads across verticals such as automotive, hospitality, property management, retail, and public sector.
  • Deliver live product demonstrations showcasing SmartBox features and operational benefits.
  • Qualify leads and schedule follow-up demos or calls for Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and funnel details within the CRM.
  • Collaborate with AEs and marketing to refine messaging and strengthen territory coverage.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and business events as a Keycafe brand ambassador.
  • Continuously research and identify new local business opportunities.
