About The Position

As a Field Sales Manager , you will lead and coach a team of Field Sales Representatives, selling our premium fundraising chocolate to schools and organizations. This remote, in-territory role involves managing sales strategies, overseeing outreach efforts, and ensuring best practices are being used to maximize fundraisers. You will report to the Director, US Sales – Fundraising , working closely to drive growth, exceed sales targets, and optimize sales activities using CRM and mapping tools.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in sales or field-based roles, including 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to coach and motivate sales representatives to exceed targets.
  • Experience managing remote teams or working in a decentralized sales structure.
  • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, from prospecting to customer retention.
  • Comfortable presenting to school leaders, community organizations, and nonprofit groups.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full-time remote schedule.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory; must have a reliable vehicle and live near a major airport.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 15 Field Sales Representatives, focusing on training, coaching, and performance development. Audit sales funnels and CRM activity to ensure consistency and accountability.
  • Territory Development: Oversee execution of list-based territory plans, including cold calling, follow-ups, networking, and market research to drive new business.
  • Sales Coaching: Evaluate and improve in-person sales presentations, ensuring alignment with company messaging.
  • Fundraiser Execution: Support representatives in planning and launching successful fundraising campaigns, including use of a strong student incentive program, school kickoff events and motivational presentations.
  • Client Communication: Ensure clear, professional, and responsive communication with sponsors throughout the fundraising cycle.
  • Utilization of Tools: Support the effective use of sales tools, including CRM systems, Sale Tracker, and Resource Kit.
  • Post-Sale Strategy: Guide representatives in fundraiser wrap-ups, gathering feedback, securing re-signs, and generating referrals.
  • Performance Development: Utilize key sales metrics (visits, presentations, close rates, total sales, retention) as a guide to identify opportunities, facilitate growth-oriented discussions, and enhance skill development for long term success.
