Your Mission Your mission in this role is to support the Regional Account Managers in executing on the key performance indicators of our retail strategy.

Requirements

  • Must be available for frequent travel, across Midwestern USA including: KY; OH; TN. Hiring 2nd position to cover Midwestern USA including: KS; MO.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
  • Ideal candidate will have a valid credit card for travel expenses
  • Must be available to spend up to ~10 overnight stays per month. Expectation of traveling 3-4 days per week. Some day travel; some overnight. Depending on location(s) visiting on each trip.
  • Flawless communication skills, both written and oral, with extensive public speaking experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
  • Has experience using Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment
  • Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospects
  • Junior to mid-level related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with building materials is an asset, not a requirement
  • Relative building material industry work experience is an asset, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
  • Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new opportunities
  • Supporting applicable Regional Account Manager(s) on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
  • Attend product training conferences and develop an understanding of our communication infrastructure - Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the sales representatives
  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
  • Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting
  • Work within the parameters of Company policies and procedures
  • Lead follow-ups with customers and document/record wins
