We are looking for a Field Sales and Service Engineer who can operate confidently at the intersection of hardware, industrial environments, and Edge AI technologies. This is a highly hands-on, client-facing role that plays a crucial part in delivering world-class safety solutions in warehouses and production facilities.

Requirements

  • Hybrid OT/IT Technical Capability
  • Comfortable working both on industrial machinery (especially forklifts) and configuring advanced Edge AI software.
  • Willing to get hands-on in warehouse environments—cabling, mounting hardware, system calibration.
  • Dual Technical Competencies
  • Strong, practical low-voltage electrical experience (12V–48V systems).
  • Solid networking knowledge (Subnets, VLANs, TCP/IP, Cellular).
  • Ability to work with client IT teams to diagnose and resolve complex connectivity issues.
  • Strategic Soft Skills
  • This role goes far beyond typical field service work. We need someone who can:
  • Manage client relationships professionally during high-stakes pilots.
  • Collaborate with Safety Directors and operational leaders on-site.
  • Calibrate AI detection zones with strong spatial awareness and precision.
  • Represent Trio Mobil confidently during installations, audits, and technical validations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience from Forklift OEM companies or automation / intralogistics technology companies is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on technical field roles in industrial environments.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate products and services to clients, assisting them in selecting solutions best suited to their needs.
  • Become subject matter expert on all technical aspects of the Trio Mobil product set.
  • Provide customers guidance in the electrical and mechanical integration on customer equipment, following Trio Mobil guidelines and customer safety rules during the sales cycle.
  • Conduct site visits and risk assessments at customer locations.
  • Provide necessary support to sales including required documentation and processes needed for quoting and order to delivery processes.
  • Install Trio Mobil forklift and pedestrian safety systems and ensure all components are configured, calibrated, and fully operational.
  • Perform onsite electrical and mechanical integration on customer equipment, following Trio Mobil guidelines and customer safety rules.
  • Diagnose, isolate, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
  • Provide clear documentation of findings and corrective actions.
  • Escalate complex issues to engineering and R&D teams when needed.
  • Serve as the onsite technical representative of Trio Mobil, fostering trust and clarity during visits.
  • Train customer operators, maintenance teams, and supervisors on system usage, best practices, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Communicate professionally with customer stakeholders before, during, and after each visit.
  • Coordinate and manage routine meetings with customers that in doing short term engagements such as Proof of Concepts, Proof of Value, etc.
  • Assess customer site conditions ahead of installation and coordinate any required preparations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (project managers, sales, R&D, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of deployments.
  • Maintain compliance with customer EHS requirements.
  • Provide feedback to the product team regarding field performance, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and proposing actionable enhancements.
  • Travel nationwide (70-80%) to support sales efforts, installations, service calls, and project work.
  • Adapt to dynamic schedules, customer needs, and evolving technical requirements.
