RDR is seeking a Field Safety professional to round out our Safety Team across Ohio and West Virginia. This position reports directly to the Director of Safety and must work collaboratively with site leadership, employees, and clients to effectively identify and deliver business aligned safety solutions. Job Summary: Perform and document daily inspections on assigned jobsites, reviewing housekeeping, equipment and machinery conditions, environmental concerns, and other safety-related issues to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and company regulations. Facilitate safety and compliance training as needed to educate employees on jobsite safety practices, potential health hazards, and methods to reduce or eliminate workplace risks. Communicate daily with RDR management, safety personnel, and employees to keep each jobsite informed of updates to safety regulations, procedures, and programs. Build and maintain positive relationships with local client representatives and agencies, provide required compliance information, and address any questions or concerns. Lead corrective actions for environmental, safety, and health issues identified through audits, insurance reviews, or internal assessments. Investigate accidents to identify root causes and recommend measures to prevent future occurrences. Partner with the Director of Safety to implement programs and processes that reduce incidents and promote a strong safety culture. Pre-project planning of health and safety plans. Performs other related duties as assigned.
