About The Position

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid driver license with a clean MVR.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must live locally (within a 25-mile radius of Midland/Odessa).
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be willing to learn all safety state and federal standards and regulations.
• Exhibit high levels of integrity, self-discipline, and willingness to learn and improve.
• Must be able to carry 75 lbs and work outside in all climates.
• Must be able to perform duties while wearing a SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) and full-faced mask.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Rigging up and down safety equipment at locations for drilling rigs, workover units, frac, etc.
• Supervising and writing permits for Confined Space, Hot Work, and critical tasks.
• Performing rescue functions for a variety of oilfield applications.
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal safety standards and regulations.
• Acting as the Safety Professional at all times when on location.
• Adhering to all ASSI policies and procedures.
• Meeting or exceeding all assigned goals and expectations as determined by leadership.
• Performing additional tasks assigned by ASSI leadership.
