About The Position
As a Field Safety Professional at Grainger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers across various industries. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Safety, your primary responsibility will be to partner with Grainger customers to conduct comprehensive hazard and risk assessments. This involves identifying customer needs and opportunities to enhance their safety programs. Utilizing Grainger's extensive range of products, services, and resources, you will design tailored solutions aimed at mitigating hazards and risks, thereby strengthening the business relationship with these organizations. In collaboration with the Grainger sales team, you will develop strategic plans to address customer needs throughout your designated territory. Your role will require you to conduct thorough needs analyses to align customer requirements with Grainger's offerings. You will engage Grainger's resources to create a detailed implementation plan and timeline, ensuring that the solutions are effectively executed. Post-implementation, you will check in with customers to confirm that their needs are being met and leverage this success to gather insights for future opportunities. Staying abreast of safety regulations and industry trends will be essential in your role. You will educate customers on the implications of changing market dynamics and technological advancements on their businesses. Additionally, you will explore nonstandard solutions that can profitably meet customer needs while expanding their understanding and utilization of Grainger's standard product and service capabilities. This position is hybrid, allowing for a blend of remote and on-site work, primarily supporting customers in Eastern Pennsylvania.
