The Field Representative - Building Construction Project Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that construction work complies with contract plans, specifications, and safety standards. This role involves overseeing large complex projects, maintaining documentation of contract progress, and ensuring that all parties adhere to safety practices. The position requires a thorough understanding of contract documents and the ability to manage inspections and project meetings effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and general conditions.
  • Oversee construction practices and industry standards.
  • Document contract progress through written reports, notes, photographs, and electronic data.
  • Schedule testing company inspections and maintain As-Builts.
  • Attend all project meetings and ensure safety practices are followed.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or building construction.
  • Three years of professional experience overseeing construction, remodeling, or maintenance of buildings and facilities, including one year equivalent to a Building Construction Project Superintendent P11.
  • Experience as a superintendent or foreman in building construction trades may substitute for education.
  • Familiarity with shop drawing approval process.
  • Experience with CPM scheduling.
  • Knowledge of liquidated damages.
