About The Position

The Field Reimbursement Specialist (FRS) at Syneos Health is responsible for managing defined accounts within the cardiac therapeutic area, focusing on supporting customer products. This role involves executing strategic plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including call center services and sales teams. The FRS acts as a payer expert, providing education and support throughout the access process, ensuring effective communication of payer changes, and assisting with reimbursement challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in public or private third-party reimbursement or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, or sales
• Experience with specialty/biologic products
• Demonstrated ability to educate offices on access processes
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Act as an extension of the call center and/or HUB, providing live one-on-one coverage support.
• Serve as a payer expert for the defined geography, communicating payer changes to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Offer office education during the entire access process, including formulary coverage, utilization management criteria, and insurance procedures.
• Review patient-specific information in reimbursement cases to assist in resolving access issues or coverage challenges.
