The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) at Syneos Health will serve as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting client products. This role involves educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and their staff on reimbursement matters to facilitate patient access, analyzing reimbursement issues, and coordinating with various teams to support patient access to products.

  • Operate as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting client products.
  • Educate HCPs and their staff on reimbursement, access, and coverage to facilitate appropriate patient access.
  • Analyze reimbursement and access issues and act as a local resource for field sales personnel and regional management.
  • Coordinate with the Hub on individual patient cases, including reimbursement assistance and referrals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Field Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and other departments.
  • Provide reimbursement education to field teams and coordinate on reimbursement issues with third parties.
  • Liaise with Specialty Pharmacy for pharmacy benefit products.
  • Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, and coding requirements.
  • Provide information to HCPs on product coverage under benefit designs.
  • Support patient access by providing expertise on reimbursement issues that may be barriers to access.
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree required.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with a buy and bill, complex product.
  • Experience in Cardiology or Rare Disease preferred.
  • Proven experience with Hubs and knowledge of billing, coding, and appeals.
  • Experience with commercial payers, Medicare plans, and state Medicaid in the geographic region.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including overnights and/or weekends.
  • Experience with complex reimbursement issues related to specialty pharmacy products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
