About The Position

The Field Reimbursement Manager at Pfizer will play a crucial role in facilitating patient access to Pfizer products by providing education and support to healthcare providers (HCPs) regarding reimbursement and coverage issues. This position involves conducting office calls, delivering in-person and virtual education, and assisting HCPs with coding and claims-related issues. The manager will act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement matters, ensuring compliance with company standards while building relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in pharmaceutical sales or coding and reimbursement.
  • Strong understanding of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, and Co-Pay Assistance Programs.
  • B.S. or B.A. degree is required.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience in strategic planning and implementation.
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to compliance guidelines.
  • Valid US driver's license with a compliant driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred but not required.
  • Coding and billing knowledge or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct office calls with HCPs and office staff to support patient access to Pfizer products.
  • Provide in-person and virtual education for HCPs/office staff regarding payer landscape and coverage updates.
  • Distribute Pfizer-approved materials related to coverage and reimbursement matters.
  • Educate HCPs/office staff on Hub financial assistance offerings and enrollment processes.
  • Assist HCP offices with coding and claims-related issues by contacting payers for information.
  • Utilize Pfizer's designated case notes system compliantly.
