In this role, you will manage an assigned territory focused on enhancing patient access and reimbursement services for innovative therapies. You will be pivotal in fostering relationships with healthcare professionals and providing them with essential reimbursement support. Your work will directly impact patient care by ensuring they receive the necessary resources for their treatment. This position thrives on a mix of independent work and collaboration with internal teams, enhancing both process efficiency and customer experience across platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7 years of experience in the bio-pharma industry.
• 4 years of reimbursement-specific experience.
• Exceptional billing and coding experience with CMS 1500/UB-04 forms.
• Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy and medical/pharmacy benefit roles.
• Experience in healthcare insurance verification, prior authorizations, and claims adjudication.
• Familiarity with miscellaneous J codes and modifiers.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Strong presentation abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Neurology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-demand education and support for office staff regarding reimbursement services.
• Engage with healthcare professionals through in-person and virtual interactions.
• Educate on benefit investigation, prior authorization processes, and patient communication.
• Report monthly activities capturing key educational topics.
• Assist offices with product distribution and site care decisions.
• Support case management, billing, and coding updates.
• Collaborate with case managers and coordinators as needed.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers for patient-specific information.
• Provide aging case assistance in conjunction with cross-functional partners.
• Monitor territory performance through CRM dashboards and reporting.
