About The Position

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) at Syneos Health will serve as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting client products. The role involves educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and their staff on reimbursement matters to facilitate patient access, analyzing reimbursement issues, and coordinating with various teams to support patient access to products. The FRM will also provide expertise on reimbursement processes and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Requirements

• BS/BA Degree required
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
• 2+ years of experience with a buy and bill, complex product
• Proven experience with Hubs and knowledge of billing, coding, and appeals
• Experience with commercial payers, Medicare plans, and state Medicaid
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including overnights and/or weekends

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Cardiology or Rare Disease
• In-depth knowledge of Hub activities and reimbursement processes

Responsibilities

• Operate as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting client products.
• Educate HCPs and their staff on reimbursement, access, and coverage to facilitate appropriate patient access.
• Analyze reimbursement and access issues and act as a local resource for field sales personnel and regional management.
• Coordinate with the Hub on individual patient cases, including reimbursement assistance and referrals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Field Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and other departments.
• Provide reimbursement education to field teams and coordinate on reimbursement issues with third parties.
• Liaise with Specialty Pharmacy for pharmacy benefit products and educate HCPs on reimbursement processes.
• Support patient access by providing expertise on reimbursement issues that may be barriers to access.
