About The Position

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a customer-facing expert in access and reimbursement, responsible for providing education and support across the Pharmaceutical Diagnostic (PDx) portfolio. This role involves resolving patient-level issues and enhancing procedural efficiency in determining benefits and reimbursement. The FRM collaborates with various partners to deliver solutions and is expected to be self-directed, proficient in identifying reimbursement issues, and capable of creating supporting documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the US healthcare medical device or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Field Reimbursement Manager in the US.
  • Knowledge of medical benefit reimbursement and payment mechanisms, including medical coding and claims processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Government (Medicare/Medicaid) and Commercial coverage dynamics.
  • Familiarity with provider office and hospital outpatient department reimbursement regulations.
  • Knowledge of the radiology authorization process and associated regulations.
  • Experience working with HUB or reimbursement call centers.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and manage complex projects.
  • Highly organized with excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Competence with CRM systems, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Professional Coding Certification.
  • Experience in radiopharmaceuticals, imaging, or diagnostics.
  • Product launch experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on reimbursement support programs and payer claim processes.
  • Develop and conduct onboarding and in-service presentations for customer accounts.
  • Educate customers about the PDx portfolio's payer coverage policies and reimbursement processes.
  • Act as the primary contact for resolving access and reimbursement challenges.
  • Create and disseminate Access & Reimbursement tools and guides related to product coverage and claims processing.
  • Maintain communication with Market Access Account Executives and Sales to provide field intelligence.
  • Attend conferences to promote GEHC's Patient Support Services.
