Home Infusion Nurses provide comprehensive care to home infusion patients in an outpatient, community setting, including, but not limited to, the administration of antibiotics, immunotherapies, TPN, biologics, various specialty medications and supportive care therapies. The RN will be required to travel to the patient’s home (or agreed upon setting) and provide infusion therapy. The nurse is responsible to appropriately document patient care activities within OHSU EHR and utilize medical technology to coordinate care, utilizing the primary nurse model and ensure the patient and family are receiving OHSU’s highest quality of nursing care. This nurse should be available to work Monday through Friday and is expected to be part of the On-Call rotation -which includes overnight, holidays, and weekend coverages. Additional Details Length of Orientation – Experienced Nurse External candidates: OHSU & Nursing New Employee Orientation (NEO) for about a week. Either Transition to Practice (TTP) Program Specialty Fellowship/Fellowship Learning Pathway or Orientation experience for 3 days-26 weeks depending on the care area.
