About The Position

Ultimate Care NY is seeing a motivated and people oriented Field Recruiter to join our team. The Field Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and engaging caregiver candidates directly from the community. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized and passionate about connecting great talent with meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of our patients and families. Working under the direction of the Field Recruitment Manager, the Field Recruiter builds relationships with schools, training programs, and referral networks to bring qualified HHAs and PCAs into the agency. Each Field Recruiter is paired with a designated HR Onboarding Coordinator, ensuring that all collected documentation is promptly forwarded for verification and processing. The role is highly mobile, focused on community engagement, applicant screening, and maintaining a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates. This is a field based role with compensation $22.00 to $23.00 per hour based on relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Visit schools, training centers, and community organizations to promote agency opportunities.
  • Attend job fairs, local events, and outreach drives to recruit caregivers.
  • Collect applicant contact information and documents in accordance with agency policy.
  • Maintain strong relationships with community partners and referral sources.
  • Conduct initial screening to confirm certification (HHA/PCA) and work eligibility.
  • Collect and verify core documents (ID, SSN, certificate, physical, TB/QuantiFERON, references).
  • Forward all documentation to the assigned HR Onboarding Coordinator daily.
  • Maintain field logs of daily recruitment activity, including number of applicants engaged and referred.
  • Maintain daily communication with the Field Recruitment Manager regarding field performance and needs.
  • Collaborate closely with paired Onboarding Coordinator to ensure applicants are processed quickly.
  • Follow up with applicants to confirm completion of missing documentation or orientation scheduling.
  • Submit end-of-day summaries and weekly activity reports.
  • Track applicant progress in shared trackers to monitor field-to-HR transitions.
