About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: As the Regional Field Recruiter for the (REGION) and surrounding states, you will oversee the beginning of our outward-focused recruitment process by traveling to and hosting information sessions in a variety of class settings to individuals interested in pursuing a career over the road. JOB DESCRIPTION: Key Responsibilities Representing the Stevens Transport brand at job fairs, vocational schools, information sessions, recruiting events, and other opportunities Serving as the initial contact and the first impression for prospective students, promoting our compensation, benefits, company culture and long-term career potential Creating and leading PowerPoint presentations to CDL Academies Building, strengthening and maintaining relationships with vocational faculty members and industry resources to increase number of hires Following up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity Conducting initial phone interviews and pre-qualify candidates who meet basic requirements Regularly checking in with management to understand the effectiveness of recruiting efforts Understanding the competitive landscape of driver recruiting and develop innovative ways for Stevens Transport to nurture candidates at various touchpoints along the recruiting/application/hiring journey QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license Clean MVR and driving record This is required to drive our company cars Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information 3+ years in a high-volume recruiting role or tenured sales experience Highly organized and effective under pressure Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and active listening skills High energy personality Ability to provide valuable and timely customer service to candidates, hiring managers and senior level management Tech savvy Ability to handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls and email Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the transportation industry Previous use of the TenStreet applicant tracking system Public speaking experience SKILLS AND ABILITIES: PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work Experience: Workshift: Education: In compliance with Federal and State equal employment opportunity laws, qualified candidates are considered for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, non-job-related disability, or any other protected group status. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
