About The Position

Identify quality trends to proactively mitigate quality issues. Conduct other tasks as directed by Farm Food Safety Manager - Organic Vegetables. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Live in Kern County area and work in the Coachella area for 3 days per week for approximately four months during the winter harvest season.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean DMV driving record.
  • Pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

  • Experience with evaluating quality.
  • Experience in critical thinking, practicing scientific methods, and inspection activities.
  • Ability to be responsive and communicate effectively (verbally and written).
