About The Position

AECOM Hunt is seeking a professional Field Project Specialist for our construction project in Jacksonville, Florida. The Field Project Specialist provides comprehensive project support for multiple projects and Project Managers. and ensures strict adherence to construction management policies and local practices and applies sound professional judgment to ensure quality deliverables for our project. Provides training and instruction to project team regarding daily operations. Requirements

  • BA/BS Business or similar curriculum and 2 years of professional experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply construction site protocol.
  • Ability to understand complex assignments and maintain quality, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to consume large amounts of data to provide efficiencies and complex reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in educating and developing project teams.
  • Excellent Power Point skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Provides document management and project controls support which includes the receipt, inventory, audit, tracking, storage, retrieval and distribution of both classified and unclassified electronic, paper and other media project data and documents according to company policy, and proper procedures for the projects.
  • Manages the set up and maintenance of document control / records management for multiple projects and Project Managers.
  • Ensures that all local practices and activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Applies sound professional judgment and independent thought on details of work.
  • Resolves questions and problems.
  • Independently performs most assignments with little or no oversight.
  • Under general supervision, interacts with professional/technical staff and clients to accomplish assigned objectives.
