About The Position

We are seeking a Field Project Manager who is responsible for the overall success of construction projects for Security/Access Control and BDA. Success is defined as profitable while meeting all construction schedule dates and producing a quality product/service by managing DynaFire personnel responsible for the construction of the project. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze a project and take it from planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing. Maximize the profitability of projects assigned, including following the policy/procedure of how to invoice for a projects' materials and equipment. Must also apply labor resources in the most efficient manner. Secure and maintain project folders assigned for each project in Google Drive. Effectively communicate the needs required to complete DynaFire's scope of work to all parties impacting the project. This includes DynaFire superintendents, foreman, installers, customers, and customer's clients. Promptly communicates with the customer any issues related to the project. Responsible for the mobilization, wiring, trimming, final connections, programming, pretesting, trouble shooting, final testing, and providing final documentation to complete the delivery of a system. Assist sales in writing RFI's and change orders. The ability to effectively hand and computer program specialty panels. This includes updating and maintaining all necessary licenses required to program systems. Guiding and instructing DynaFire personnel on the proper application of product to comply with all applicable industry codes and standards, including local jurisdiction requirements. Assist Engineering department in creating accurate documentation when called upon. Attend project meetings when needed by sales or customer. Trains and instructs the installation workforce and peers as needed. Trains and instructs customer on the proper use of the equipment. Responsible for reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, shop and contract drawings, and specifications. Must be able to operate Volt and Ohm meter, oscilloscope, multimeter, tone generator, and batter tester. Responsible for maintaining and delivering specialty construction tools for the project. Responsible for tracking labor, material, equipment, punch lists, and RFI's, and change orders. Full compliance with DynaFire's and customer's safety programs. Providing necessary reports as needed by management. Have a working knowledge of construction tools, including lifts and wire pulling devices. Effectively interpret the contract documents, and contract specifications. Ensure that as-builts are being submitted for every project at the end of the each phase and for bigger projects, in a regular basis while phases are in progress. Communicate effectively with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ). Interface with the Engineering department to provide feedback or gain information that will improve the delivery of a system. Ensure that all time cards for technicians are completed, processed, and that the times are allocated properly. Review profitability reports. Perform quality controls and monitor production. Assist management in monthly billings to ensure that cash-flow is optimized. Maintains technical and professional certifications for self. Promotes constant professional development and education. Ensures that the Construction Department Policies and Procedures are followed. Ensures that the delivery of products and services offered are in alignment with DynaFire Mission Statement.

Requirements

  • Obtain NICET I within 12 months.
  • Participate in required DynaFire sponsored training.
  • Minimum one year experience in management.
  • Minimum five years experience on field installations.
  • Share in serving as a trainer in the DynaFire sponsored training.
  • Memorize and apply the DynaFire 8 Core Values and Mission Statement.
