Requirements

  • Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in one of the following majors or a related field: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with stakeholders as a Field/Performance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to define project scopes, validation plans, and performance targets
  • Creating thorough test requests in the CNH Testing System (CTS) with clear procedures and acceptance criteria
  • Acting as the voice of the customer by evaluating feature appeal, serviceability, repairability, and overall customer value
  • Completing jury evaluations, software evaluations, and reliability tests on pre-production and production tractors
  • Executing whole-vehicle lab and field tests (e.g., hydraulic efficiency, drawbar performance, suspension optimization, braking tests)
  • Benchmarking competitive equipment to identify improvement opportunities and quantify performance gaps
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues while coordinating with SMEs to identify root causes and corrective actions
  • Selecting, calibrating, and installing instrumentation and data acquisition equipment for vehicle and subsystem testing
  • Collecting and analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and determining whether systems meet specifications and safety/customer requirements
  • Documenting results in technical reports, presenting findings to project stakeholders, and driving discussions and solutions
