About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Serves as liaison between the Professional Educational Services office and public and private school administrators both in Missouri and out-of-state by making and nurturing contacts with administrators in both elementary and secondary schools to secure placements for practicum and student teaching experiences for teacher candidates. 2. Serves as liaison between the Professional Educational Services office and teacher education programs by securing recommendations for student teaching placement from program coordinators and tracking compliances for practicums and student teaching. 3. Completes data entry and data management duties related to the Professional Education Services database, compliances, and Banner and creates reports to support state and federal accreditation and internal program review. 4. Maintains confidentiality when collecting, monitoring, and reporting compliance documents. 5. Updates website, electronic forms, and other documentation to assure current and accurate information distribution. Remains competent and current in computer literacy and adaptability to new software, programs, etc. 6. Contributes to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds. 7. Remains competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional relationships with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses as required by the Director, Professional Education Services. 8. Collaborates with all Professional education Services staff to provide services to all students and promote student success. 9.
