About The Position

Boys & Girls Clubs of America is the nation's premier youth development organization, impacting nearly 4 million children and teens every year. We are looking for qualified professionals with a passion for improving young lives to join our national staff. The Business Operations intern will be primarily responsible for supporting a variety of department projects in Atlanta, GA this summer. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and the time commitment is from June 3rd to August 6th, 2025, with 30-40 hours per week. The compensation for this role is $17 per hour.

Requirements

• Pursuing a business administration degree or equivalent.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Highly organized with an eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time appropriately.
• Ability to interact professionally with BGCA senior leadership and staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated interest in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and an operations centric career.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.
• A track record of reliability, strong teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytic, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Operations with Area Council event registration builds and reporting this summer.
• Support Youth of the Year program with Regional Event fulfillment.
• Navigate and utilize various systems to provide reporting updates and forecasting for upcoming events.
• Execute tasks within a centralized intake system for deliverable management within Field Operations.
• Complete other assignments as assigned and supported by Business Operations.
