About The Position

The position involves adhering to Targa HSE requirements, ensuring safety and environmental considerations are prioritized in all operations. Responsibilities include completing necessary paperwork and documentation using MAXIMO, managing station equipment, and maximizing field compression efficiency. The role also encompasses dehydration operations and maintenance, calculating pump rates, and understanding flow and temperature metrics, as well as BTEX units. Additional tasks include assisting with pigging operations, performing minor repairs, managing inventory of various substances, and maintaining cleanliness at the station site.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving record satisfactory to the company
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related work experience
  • Interpersonal communication skills to interface with teams, personnel, and vendors
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software modules, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others
  • Ability to manage time effectively when given multiple tasks
  • Solid computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Previous experience with gas fired engines and reciprocating compressors
  • Knowledge of glycol dehydration systems

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Targa HSE requirements, with safety and environmental being at the forefront of all operations
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation (MAXIMO)
  • Starting and stopping of all station equipment
  • Maximize field compression efficiently
  • Dehydration operations and maintenance
  • Ability to calculate pump rates
  • Understanding of flow and temps
  • Understanding of BTEX units
  • Assist pigging operations as needed along with proper documentation and procedures
  • Perform minor repairs and assist with major repairs on compression and related equipment
  • Perform valve inspections and maintenance as needed
  • Manage inventory at assigned sites
  • Assist other departments as needed
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping at the station site and all buildings
  • Clean trucks and service at proper intervals
  • Other duties as assigned
