About The Position

Leidos is currently looking for a Field Operations Engineer. This position is responsible for the configuration of security systems (IP cameras & servers) and IT networks to support perimeter countermeasures. The scope of work will include: Supporting a network topology and infrastructure (camera, cabling, and conduit installation) that will be used for all the security devices to communicate. Configuring security devices to communicate and operate at the specifications requested by the customer. Assist with building custom solutions using COTS equipment to meet high security, high threat customer requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years’ experience, or additional experience in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated experience configuring and administering CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter/Residential/Commercial Intrusion Detection, and intercom systems.
• Experience in fiber optic network installation and configuration (switches, routers, wireless).
• Capability to implement accepted industry standards and methodology in Information Technology/Networking, Structural, Electrical, and Infrastructure Cabling.
• Active Secret clearance at a minimum, capable of obtaining a Top Secret clearance.
